Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 August 2026
Draft pending legal review
These terms describe how the Platform actually works today. They have not been reviewed by legal counsel and must be approved by TS Environment Technology PLC before the Platform is offered publicly.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using the ESG & Sustainability Performance Index (“the Platform”), operated by TS Environment Technology PLC, you agree to these terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. What the assessment is — and is not
The Platform produces an ESG maturity assessment against the IFC Performance Standards framework. Scores and certification tiers are the output of that assessment methodology.
Results are not an accredited certification, a legal or regulatory compliance determination, a financial rating, or investment advice. They must not be presented as any of these. Results reflect the information and evidence supplied at the time of assessment.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and honest information. Knowingly submitting false information or fabricated evidence may result in withdrawal of results and termination of access.
- Keep your account credentials secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Upload only documents you have the right to share, and do not upload malicious files.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or scrape it at scale.
4. Publication of results
Completed assessments are published to the public index. By submitting an assessment you consent to publication of the information listed in section 3 of the Privacy Policy. Evidence documents and justification notes are never published.
We may correct or withdraw a published result where an error in the assessment or the underlying data is identified.
5. Intellectual property
The assessment framework, scoring methodology, weightings, platform software and generated reports are the property of TS Environment Technology PLC. You may use reports about your own company for your own business purposes. You retain ownership of the data and documents you submit, and grant us the licence needed to process, assess and — for the categories in section 4 — publish it.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and unforeseen outages may interrupt service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TS Environment Technology PLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform, or from decisions taken by you or any third party on the basis of assessment results.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Published results for a company are not automatically withdrawn on account closure.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
